I was born in a little town in Trentino but raised in this incredible neighbourhood, which used to be an independent municipality and still somehow preserves the mechanisms of a well established community. Everybody knows each other, they all know the same places- where to go to have a drink, eat or just hang out- here in Lambrate.
My enterprise couldn’t have started anywhere but here: a place where impulses and experiences travel fast, just like the years I spent in a rehearsal studio experimenting new sounds and playing around with a bulky double bass during my youth. Somehow magically, they interweave with the ancestral craft traditions and that distinctive valley spirit that always compels you to do something, to create something- using the most fascinating ancient material one could ever find and experience the pleasure of getting their hands dirty with : wood.
That’s how my guitars and basses ,designed with refined materials and honed lines, are born-from my passionate necessity to restore and curate all the instruments.
In the end, maybe this is why the Grasse Liuterie Lambratesi were born: to make people play, and to make any kind of strings resonate with their best voice.
